Campfires at Lake Rawlings

Dear Fellow Diver:

Lake Rawlings has instituted strict rules for campfires to ensure the safety of everyone.

• All campfires must be approved.
• Campfires are confined to existing fire rings.
• Campers may not move or create new fire rings.
• A full 5-gallon water bucket will be on hand at each fire ring for those building fires.
• NO CAMPFIRES IN LOT "C", WHICH IS THE RV HOOK-UP AREA.
• NO CAMPFIRES ANYWHERE INSIDE THE WOODLINE.

Our goal is not to suppress the building or enjoyment of campfires, but we do not want campers to walk away from a campfire that has smoldering wood; and we want campers to have plenty of water nearby to douse the fire before retiring for the evening.
