Board Member
Paula Tucker-Hogan, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and the CEO of ACT REAL, Inc., in Hampton, VA. Her company provides educational, legal, and psychological consulting services. She is currently certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia to serve as a family and general mediator, and she also serves on the Board of Hampton Road’s Community Mediation Center.
Paula is also the Director of the NASA Pre-Service Teacher STEM Program which provides prospective teachers with an opportunity to develop their confidence and skills in teaching an integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum using NASA materials and resources.
She has served as a clinical psychologist in private/public practice, and as administrator/faculty at several leading higher educational institutions, such as Harvard University, Boston University, etc. She was also a high school principal (of the Leadership School at Cambridge Rindge & Latin, Cambridge, MA), high/elementary school teacher, guidance counselor, social worker and school psychologist.
